Housing Unlocked : Ideas From a Living Room is now available to purchase from The Library Project. Grab a copy of this limited print run online or in person from their shop in Temple Bar.

Ideas From a Living Room is the companion book for the Housing Unlocked exhibition. It serves as a lasting record of the creativity and positivity generated by the exhibition itself.

The book itself contains an introduction outlining the history of the project from Nathalie Weadick (former director of the IAF) and Bob Jordan (CEO of the Housing Agency), a specially commissioned essay ‘Unlocking the Housing Question’ by David Madden (Associate Professor of Sociology and Director of the Cities Programme at LSE), project descriptions from the teams who were selected to exhibit at Housing Unlocked, and an Anthology of Ideas filled with other proposals submitted to the open call.

Architects and their collaborators were invited through an open call for ideas to question the status quo and propose new ways of doing things.
